I am concerned about my children’s overall nutrition, so we eat Japanese short grain rice most of the time. Recently, we started to try different varieties of rice importing from Thailand, China and USA. I remembered once I read an article about Jazzmen rice regarding their different modes of cultivation, soil, water management and milling, I'd say the prices are just a bit pricey but well worth it.

Japanese rice gets slightly sticky when it's cooked, on the contrary, Jazzmen rice has more taste and texture, it’s soft, tender and slightly sweet. BTW, I took a little experimentation to test its freshness – I placed the brown rice in a bowl and covered well with water, small sprouts appearred after two days later.

I bought Jazzmen white rice yesterday and cooked the plain congee for my parents, it was very flavorful and the texture is so smooth. They love it so much.

My husband doesn’t really like to eat brown rice due to the dry and coarse texture. I used to mix half white and half brown. However, when I cooked Jazzmen brown rice last week ( I bought it from Sheung Wan Wing On and I was told that no soaking is required and there’s no need to mix with white rice when cooking), surprisingly, my husband liked its soft and chewy texture and found it’s not as crunchy as other brown rice, it’s quite delicious and easy to prepare. We’re so glad we found this product and we’ll definitely eat more brown rice from now on. I just registered as member and made my first order on the 25lbs brown rice and got a member’s discount too, COOL!

I just bought Jazzmen aromatic white rice and brown rice. My husband liked the white rice very much because of its distinctive flavor and aroma. As for myself, I prefer Jazzmen brown rice, besides it’s nutrient dense, I liked the slightly chewy texture with delicate flavor and aroma. We’ll definitely buy some more when we go back to Shanghai later.
