In some Asian countries, it is quite common that farmers may get two crops or sometimes up to three crops per year -- there are fundamental flaws in this approach. For JAZZMEN Rice, our prime focus is QUALITY but not quantity, as such, we believe that the rice crop should let nature take it’s course during the grown-in periods.
As a natural crop, it makes common sense to allow the rice crop to naturally gestate from seed, into eventual crop ready for cultivation. This process should take place at the best time of year, in other words, if more than one crop per year, the second or third crop will not be germinating under the optimum weather and climate. In fact, if the farmers try to shorten the grown-in periods with the sole purpose to increase the productivity, we believe, the end result will be a huge compromise on the quality of the crop.
In other words, there is no short cut to grow healthy crops. No substitution for the sun's light, as the process of photosynthesis takes its’ course.
For the best quality crop, we must allow the natural growth of the rice to take place, naturally.
